Artist Statement: I aim to capture and interpreted relationships; relationships between families between objects, between lovers, with the world and with ourselves. I emphasize on emotions triggered by these relationships. I like to use a combination of origami paper, newspaper, acrylic, pastel to achieve texture. My pallets are usually bold, expressive, and contrasting which is how I would describe my own personality.
As an artist/Illustrator I aim to bring entertainment, and to expand the ways we view relations around us, in hopes to provoke ideas, and to un-leash the creativeness that is deeply rooted inside everyone.

Artist Statement: I am inspired by the interactions between colour, form and pattern in my glass flamework; resulting in bold colourful statement pieces. I have travelled extensively and draw inspiration from the antiquity in art, surviving from the distant past. From Venetian, Islamic, Latin American and Indian art motifs, I relate to the geometry of patterns. I enjoy bringing these relic designs into contemporary glass jewellery and objects.
Precision and craftsmanship are very important to me when creating. My own work explores the fine line between excessive planning and experimenting. I am always looking at developing my practice both technically and conceptually. I hope to always push my creativity with glass flame working, a medium that has no limits.

Artist Statement: My work is a study of the unseen in daily life. Be it individuals, photos or incidents, these subjects are often unobscured, yet frequently overlooked. My motivation is to coax viewers into examining these subjects that have become disposable in some way. My paintings are representational, but veiled in abstraction, giving an arena to subjects that no longer receive a thoughtful stage. I hope the work also encourages the viewer to wonder at the things they tend to gloss over.

Artist Statement: Emotional memories are not always immediately recognizable as having a concrete birthplace. I explore this concept through an unfocused lens. Rather than dictating what is to be the perceived truth, blurred images create a doorway that allows the viewer to follow a personal narrative into each photograph. Our memory bank acts as a container in which we capture poignant moments that consciously or unconsciously take root and follow us through time. The subject matter in my work is familiar to many, but the accompanying sensory memories and the location the viewer places them in, are unique to the individual.
Recent Exhibitions, Work AND Education: I have been exhibiting in outdoor shows and galleries in Canada and the U.S. for over twenty years. Recent exhibitions: Liss Gallery & Queenwest art crawl. Examples of some corporate collectors: Polygram Records, Great Canadian Casino $ Warner Music
Recent Exhibitions, Work AND Education: A professional carpenter with a formal education in painting from
OCAD, Ian experiments with bringing colour, shape, form and texture together in his
artwork. With past experience as an actor, freelance illustrator, photographer and sound engineer, Ian has spent a lifetime creating. His new mounted painterly photographs are a new branch of his art. Most recently, one of these works was accepted and sold as part of a silent auction at a fundraiser for the Wychwood Artscape Barns.
Artist Statement: Born and raised in Toronto, urban and industrial landscapes have long been a subject of
intrigue for Ian Busher. A professional carpenter with a formal education in painting from
OCAD, Ian experiments with bringing colour, shape, form and texture together in his
artwork. Realizing the aesthetic he could achieve by breaking with conventional
photographic rules and playing with mounting techniques, Ian was drawn to abstract
photography. Busher’s works have a distinct painterly quality enticing viewers to take a
second look at both the format and subject matter. His new series examines the beauty in destruction and neglect.
